The education I received at The Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico helped me to explore, develop and work more loosely in media of various types. I usually work intuitively when I paint and I enjoy experimenting with colors and media. I try to put on canvas what I see in my head. My subjects vary as I combine realistic and abstract forms. Native American subjects and Northern Plains Indian geometric designs are sometimes incorporated into my work. |
